IMHO the 1*s are the best value in a 1911. Have you considered going up one step to the 1* Enhanced?

I did a lot of research on who I wanted to customize my 1911s. I narrowed it down to Yost-Bonitz and Ned Christiansen. My Delta Elite is at YoBo right now...I'm on Ned's 5-year wait list as well hock.gif...
You really can't do better than Yost-Bonitz given their quality of work, prices and turn-around. |

shades--what base gun are you using for Ned's build. I'm on his list as well. unlike other smiths he doesn't seem to be too particular about the base gun. he gave me a list of 4 different manufacturers and said any would work.
