I just got a safariland 6004 drop down holster for my Kimber Warrior w/ SF X200B.  It's an awesome holster and took me a long time to find.  My question is about adjustment of the belt attachment point.  Since I'm a shorter guy, I have to really hike up the holster so that it is seated properly.  In doing so, there is a lot of extra velcro hanging out the bottom.  Is it ok to cut this off?  It is sewn across the bottom  edge, so I would have to re-sew it.  I just don't want to inadvertantly degrade the construction of the holster.  Thanks.

I was thinking of getting one of these, where did you get it and what color (I want black, but I know they come in camo).  If you don't mind, how much did you pay?  I really need a holster for my Nighthawk GRP Recon, but am having a hard time finding anything nice.

I just cut it off and never bothered to melt the end. It looks no worse for wear after two years.
