yes I am thinking very seriously on sending the 1911 and letting them work there magic and will doing this at least get the gun in IDPA shape, (i still have some work to do though) for the 1 package just under the elite package?

A 1* Enhanced, if that is what you are talking about, is a great choice.  Be sure to get their sights, they are far better than Novak's.  They have the same sight picture as a Heinie.

If the suggestion I gave you was about the value and reliability of the 1* Enhanced, call the shop and go for it. You won't be disappointed.
