What would the value be for a Commercial colt 1911 Gov't model with serial number C95XXX, in basically at least 95% condition. Grips are in Great condition as is the Mag. Mag doesn't even look to have been used much less loaded.

A 'C' prefix 1911 is pre model 70.The Blue Book puts a value of @ $950 got a 95% pistol.

If that's the right serial number it was make in 1917,and if in the condition you describe I will give you $637.50 for it in cash money

My local shop had one in on consignment awhile back and they were asking $2495.00 with no takers and it was alot nicer than the one in that auction

My bad. My Blue Book puts a post C4,500 serial numbered pistol at $1750 for a 98%, and $1,200 for a 95% gun.

Yeah, mine looks Brand New! But I guess I really can't say 100% because it has no box with it.

Even the mag has nice blueing on it.
As soon as it's paid off expect some primo pics for the 1911 forums.
