Semi-dissapointed. No tour of the facility offered(I asked), it was kind of small from what I could see. Security was very tight for visitors as well as employees. Sorry fellas no pictures either.

Female Staff member was pleasant to talk to however.

I hand delivered my TLE/RL II to them for some custom shop work...

nothing major - application of KimPro. I just wanted to check the Kimber place out as it is so close to work.

Yeah, it's kind of a downer when places don't pony up with the PR to take the little folk and show them a good time. They don't realise that you just may come back here and say you had the best day of your life......

They still build good stuff though.

hehe....I've got to love the irony.

I went to the Hi-Point factory (near me) with a friend to drop off some warranty work. They gave us a tour, and even 2 polo shirts at the end of it.

Plus, the girl that showed us around was really cute.

Kimber? Beat it....top secret stuff....no time for you.

Hi-Point? Come on in, here's a hottie to show you around. Oh yeah, have a shirt.

I love it.

Got a phone call from Kimber today, said my newly Kim Pro'ed TLE/RL II is ready for pickup from their location.

Seeing as how "friendly" my first visit was I asked the rep if they could just ship it to me instead...sure no problem, overnight shipping free of charge courtesy of Kimber! Hmmmn, maybe these guys aren't so bad after all?

- Kimber Kim Pro Finish

- Black Gunner Grips
- Got rid of the FLGR, switched to Wolff Springs and Ed Brown stuff
- Waiting on Ed Brown Barrel Bushing, Slide Stop Lever, and Firing Pin Stop
