What do you think of putting blued or matte black parts on a stainless frame? I have a Springfield USGI and was thinking about doing an extended safety, slide release, and beavertail grip safety in a contrasting finish.

A little bit of contrast says a lot and goes a long way.

Why not pick the parts you want done and have them finished in Black-T? Only one place does it and that place is owned by the man that invented the finish, Walter Birdsong. Give him a call and tell him what you'd like done. Believe it or not he answers the phone, not a receptionist.

Thanks guys. I think I am going to do matte black parts (except trigger) on my pistol. Thanks for the inspiration!

Actually you can take the S/S parts you want black and have them black oxidized in either a matt or gloss finish. They look pretty cool........
