Hello.
I am an amature gun smith of sorts, I've built ARs from 80% castings, AKs from flats, black powder guns and customized shot guns into tactical configurations. (I say this so you kind of know my skill levelh (Armscor add in SGN $89)
I've read about cutting the rails with a dremal & router table, I think I can do that. So where can I get a 80% frame for less than $189?

If I go 100%, who has them & how does the price/quality compare to Armscor @$89?

PARTS KITS;
I'm leaning towards Sarco, they have complete kits less frame for $179.
I've heard bad things about Sarco, but I got some used M16 parts from them and was happy, tho I could have bought it here on EE for same price or a little less maybe. Ever one else wants $250+ for the kit, so what do ya think, is Sarco the best deal? I think William at the Tannery Shop recommended another outfit that was like $149, I forget who they were.

Thanks in advance for any legitamate input.

I forgot to ask: What is a good video/dvd/book to get that will show me how each part must be fitted?

I didn't see the Sarco kit, but thank you!
I think I'll just get a 100% frame, Kristi Tool wants $200 for the frame used in that link, I just can't see paying that much.

So, Sarco kit about $180, Armscor frame probably about $100 out the dour, so I should be able to build a G.I. style weapon for $300. I'll save about $180 off the price of the only other ones I know of.

Very nice Sir

That is nice.  I'm impressed with some of the talent we have around here.

ETA:  Plus, I wish I could do that.
