I got to wring out an EDC X9 for a couple weeks and just finished up accuracy testing today.

Then spend more $ on a tritium front sight. Do the use a flatwire recoil spring? Full length guide rod? |

That's a beautiful pistol and thanks for the excellent write up.
There's one thing I'd change and that's the front sight. I love shooting those optical fiber sights on my range guns, but the plastic optical fibers go missing from time to time due to recoil. It's easy as pie to replace them and I carry a cigarrette lighter and clippers in my range bag for that purpose but I'd be leery of installing one of them on a serious carry gun. |

The EDC 9 and a 629 are at the top of my someday list. Now I just have to pay off a few things.

Do want but 3K for a carry pistol really is a turn off. $1500 I would be in for sure.

my local shop has one of these with the Wilson gray frame and black slide/controls and it is a beaut. I don't have 3g's but it made me want to write a bad check.
