Bought a new Night Hawk threaded barrel from Brownells...Came with a scratch near the Company/caliber markings...
Will that shit buff out??

Put barrel in a padded vice with the chamber end up. Take a strip of 320 grit sand paper and shoe shine only the hood part and not the lugs. maybe 3 or 4 passes side to side. Then do the same with 400 grit.
You can go up to finer grits if you want it shiner. #400 usually looks "Right". |

If it's on top of the barrel hood it will just join the rest of the scratches after you fire it .
