eng208.... Jim Zubiena... "A" class USPSA shooter, before there were "M" and "GM"... he was the reason the gun handling was a lot better than most series

Hoag, back in the day when you had to cut and weld two slides together to get the added length, because there was no such thing as an off-the-shelf slide for anything over a 5 inch barrel. A guy I used to shoot IPSC (USPSA) with had a Hoag longslide. The workmanship was awesome. You could NOT tell it was two slides welded together. |
