Factory grips on my Colt Wiley Clapp. These have the airfoil, or "tactical oval" profile. Take a little getting used to, but I absolutely love the feel. Once the custom work is done, I'll post the new custom grips that Larry Dixon made for it.

Nothing tactical. At the top is my BBQ gun. Hard to tell from the pics, but the faux ivory stocks with the Texas Seal have double-diamond checkering. Both it and the BUL below are .38 Supers.

The Para 12.45 LDA wears double-diamond Micartas from Smith and Alexander.

And yes purists, the horror of TWO DA 1911's!

What did you make that out of?  Did you make that out of a magpul iPhone case?  I only say that because I have one and this looks familiar.

That's not my grip. Some guy caught a lot of shit cause he made that out of a Pmag...also everyone was selling Pmags for $70 at the time.

Grips off of eBay years ago. After I got my first 1911, I went through a lot of grips. A lot, a lot. Now I just have these, Simonich Gunner Grips, and a pair of double diamond cocobolo grips. I so desperately want some white grips. Be it bone, horn, or even pearl. Not too fond of the way ivory ages. I think it's beautiful, don't get me wrong. But it's not for me.
