I wanted one of these since I was a kid watching Magnum PI. Can't believe I waited this long to get one. I still need to pick up a supply of extra mags, ammo and cc holster. If anyone has some suggestions what to get please let me know. I'm a total noob to the .45 cal and the 1911.

Nice pistol, congrats.
As far as carrying goes. I carry a Colt Delta Elite in a Blackhawk #01 leather holster. It conceals a full size 1911 on my skinny frame very well. As far as mags to feed my 45's, all I use is Wilson Combat. |

I have a S&W 1911 myself. Great choice! One of S&W's best aspects of their 1911's is their external extractor. It has always been a common flaw on a 1911 (most of which have the internal extractor), but the external style works perfectly.
The only changes I have made to mine was a fitted Ed Brown bushing to tweak in the accuracy, some VZ grips, and a healthy supply of Wilson 8 rnd mags. |
