There's a thread from way back when about the C products mags. They had myriad issues, not sure if resolved.

Hopefully someone with better search skills can link it up.

I had started this thread, but it kinda fizzled out.

If you would, add your review to it

Pass, the magazine on a 1911 is one of the most critical elements to reliability.

Better you than me.

I've gotten past the point of experimenting and just use WC, Tripp, or CMC Powermags which work in all of my 1911s.

I remember when they came out and had a lot of problems. CProducts gave a few to members here for testing. I saw them at Sportsmans guide recently, they looked cheap in the photo. The finnish and the seem on the back looked crappy.
My 2 favorite mags are the Springfield factory 7rnder and CMC power mags. I just bought 15 Springfield mags from Midway and 15 metal forms from CDNN.

I got them when CProducts had just transitioned to LJC for like 8 bucks each. Not worth it. Springs in them are WAY too weak. if you change out the springs, then they become okay, if you change springs and follower, they at best become fine.

If they were 5 bucks, I'd say keep a few in the range bag, but even at AIM prices they just aren't worth the money.

Tripp
McCormick
Wilson

In THAT order,.........Larry had a good deal going at C Products.  They expanded too darn fast &
went down the crapper, then the sale of the company, even worse.  Not worth dealing with.

I had not heard of any of this. Are the other C-Products mags still good? (AR15)

well see what happens, may be just another exercise in futility, at least ill have more range mags or send em back, I should probably just stick to the gold ole 7 rd mags, but always wanting to experiment. Got enought 7 rders for a load out just always looking for others.

I have lots of the C Products AR mags and they work very well.  I have 3 C Products 1911 mags and two are as good as any I have and one is a piece of shit. I know Larry personally and he always tried to make good.

I will not use C-Products magazines.  I consider them soap opera drama crap.  The company has a terrible reputation as far as I am concerned.
