Ive had this gun for sale going on a month now and havent had a real serious bite.

What is a fair asking price?

*Mods,

This is not trying to get free advertisement, I am looking for honest opinions to see if my pricing is way out of line. If this violates the COC please lock/trash the thread.*

Defintely high.  Have you seen prices on new 1991 S80 Colt Commanders?  No box?  No papers?  One mag?  Ask for $650 and it'll sell.

ETA:  Sorry, but after closer inspection...$600, maybe.  Condition seems a little rougher than I first thought and....an epic "idiot scratch" to go with it.

No box, only one mag, old style rollmarks–– $500 is more like it, maybe $600 on a good day.
Retail on the current production, new rollmark 1991s with polished finish is only $719––and they have better fit/finish, more attractive rollmarks, the new barrel with special feedramp and include box and 2 mags.  Edited to add––idiot mark and scratches on your frame, like the other guys said, does not help.
Kinda sucks but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

A much more polite reference.  In the future, I'll be using that if you don't mind.

In Central Indiana, about $500-600. Being high 20% is about right.

No need to apologize folks, I asked because I really didnt know and am glad to have a solid answer.

Unfortunately the idiot scratch was already there when I picked it up.

Looks like Ill be adjusting my listing soon.

Thanks again folks I really appreciate it.

Yep, have one just like it except I have the box and manual. Gun was like new. Paid $525 for it a year ago. Good gun.

$500-550 at most.  These guns never listed anywhere close to $750 when they were new.

This.  I payed under $500 for mine brand new. (obviously a while ago)

I see ORM (old roll mark) 1991A1 guns sell at a reasonable pace when priced in the low $500's

Why dont you ask around and maybe trade it for something that would move a little quicker?

If you were FTF distance from me, I would be glad to pull a Franken AR out of the attic and swap ya.

You could sell it to some wide eyed kid in an hour for $500 or so.

I have a grandson and I know all about "4 wheeler fever"

I bought a scrathced up one last year that hadn't had 200 rounds thru it for $350, from a gun shop.  They can be had all day.
