I used Jarvis barrels twice with good results.  You may need to file fit one side of the lug at the rear of the barrel hood. Break the corner at a 45 by .040" and file the contact side till it just begins to go into battery with a little pressure.  The guns both shoot one hole groups at 25yds and both operate with the cans (KAC boostered and HP LLC non boostered).  

I also did the same fitting procedure on a Jarvis non threaded bull barrel to a buddies 1911 and it shoots one hole groups at 25 too.  I think Jarvis has a nice system.  

Obviously people like Baer build the gun right by machining every part to compliment the others and don't have to do that, but for a drop in barrel to lock up an otherwise OEM gun is a pretty good deal.
