What do you think of a Mak for a carry piece? My thoughts are it is a pretty darn good companion. A Mak has 9 rounds of ammo that is on a par with a 38 Special in a compact format. My Maks have all been very reliable, accurate and cheap to shoot. I paid $170 for my last Mak, East German, and it came with 500 rounds of ammo. I find myself carrying a Mak more and more when I am in less violent areas. Here is one of mine, a custom Bulgie Mak. Regards, Richard:D

It's heavier than my SiG 230 so it doesn't get the pocket time the SiG does, but with a good holster, it works just fine. I carry mine using a Pocket Grabber from High Noon Holsters.
