i just purchased a para 1911 ssd 45, the best handgun i have so far, real accurate, very nice shooting gun....anyone know what the SSP stands for?....and not sure if hi cap mags are made for this.......

I think it stands for Super Sport Pistol.      I think it shoots great.  Although it stopped locking open on both mags when empty.  My dealer sent it back to Para 2 weeks ago for warranty.
He swapped mags, slide lock, slide, and it still wouldnt lock open! hinking.gif

I dont know about the mags, I would like to find out myself.
Anybody?
