Looks like an Essex frame, C&L, on the 1911, I had one. Why is the name X'ed out on the slide Havent seen an Essex frame in years, mine needed grinding where the barrel lug hits. It was a casting bulge, easily fixed, before the lug got too beat up. Whatever parts mine had, it was a shooter.

Well, thats a hard question to answer. My daily carry piece? Depends on what mood I am in when I get up of a morning, where I will be going that day, what I will be doing, and what I will be wearing. I carry all my guns really. But my main ones are my P220, USP 45, USP 45C, and USP 40C. When I get my USP 40 (again), It will get thrown in the mix as well.

I have my Keltec p11 usually, just because of the size, but I carry my Springfield Ultracompact V10 in the Expedition too, and if the wardrobe allows I carry it. Still looking for a decent comfortable holster for it though. Damn things are just not made for adult size men. (a.k.a. 6'1 295lbers!)
The Keltec is easy as it has a belt clip on the side of the weapon. I would prefer the .45 just because!

Looking to buy an ankle holster also, so I can carry my J-frame as  BUG. In Texas, there is no limit as long as they are all concealed.

Cheers

Colt detective Special, industrial hard chrome finnish (it came to me that way), Barami hip-grip.  High quality, simple, and it works.

If I feel the need for an auto then its:

CZ-75B, separate Houge grip panels (no front connecting piece).

Lousy picture, but I've carried it (where lawful) just about every day since I had it built for me in the late 1980's.

It varies depending on dress. Most often its either my STAR UltraStar (very concealable), one of my SiGPro's or one of my HP's.

STAR and the SiGPro.

When real concealability is an issue, which is most days (office casual), it's a Ruger SP101 .357mag with hydra-shocks. When I can, it's a .40 Browning Hi-Power. Sometimes, just for a change, I'll carry a 1911, either in .45 or 9mm.

Desert Eagle 50AE in a Alessi ankle holster works for me. The womenz just think the grip is the "package"...too bad its just a .32 ACP

So, I get to chooose from these....I usually choose either the Springfield or the Keltec. Sometimes the S&W, but the Tomcat is my bride's.
And of course the two Rugers are too big.

Usually a Glock 19 in a Galco Concealable or a Galco Royal Guard.  Occasionally Kimber Compact with the same two model holsters.

I'm saving up to buy a .357 revolver (snub), but haven't decided which one yet.

Kel-tec P11.

Its damn hot in AZ in the summer and the Kel-tec is light weight and small. Its perfect for concealed summer time carry, also the 9mm round will penetrate better when bad guys are wearing thin clothes in the summertime.

In the winter its my Glock 30 all the way.
