G45 MOS

FFL receive my order from GT Distributors on Wednesday and I picked up yesterday. I Used my GSSF discount coupon on it. Already had a set of 10-8 sights and TLR-1 HL waiting.

Not from me. Just shoot it.  Not everything has to be whiz-bang tactical.

I shot it today and it's a great shooter. Great sights, no recoil, great accuracy.

@bhappycattle

I'm curious what the process for using a GSSF coupon with GT was like. Did you have to mail them your coupon? Or provide proof of it to GT somehow?

@Xanatos903

You got it. I called them a ordered it over the phone with a credit card. They then emailed me a receipt. I printed the receipt and mailed it along with my coupon. Once they received my coupon they shipped my G45 MOS to my FFL. It made it a bit quicker since they already had my FFL on file. If they don’t, that would be an extra step.

Picked up a single stack 2011, very lightly used.  I don't think the previous owner had it a month.   Shooting it yesterday was flawless; it even handled 147gr flat point reloads without any hesitation, and was as accurate as my other STIs.

I "loaned" out my 17L(c) to my dad about 10 years ago...   I don't think he has any plans of returning it...

But I also love me some long slide Glocks!

I sold my 43x (because I have a regular 48 also) and went to a local shop called Freedom gun and pawn. I was looking for a hellcat or a p365xl and was shocked to see a 48 MOS and 43x MOS so I grabbed it. I kinda wish I would have grabbed the 43x MOS since my holsters won't work anyways but oh well. Once I get a dot and some range time I can just swap frames to use my current holsters.

1980 vintage. I’d bet there hasn’t been a box of 9mm down the barrel. Traded a pre COVID PSA AR pistol for it.
I knew buying all those $259 pistol kits would pay off.

They were not made in large numbers or very long. They were only made from 1986 to 1990.

I posted these in another thread a couple days ago, and realized I had never posted them in my own thread. For shame.

Anyway, over the last few months I've added a Smith Model 27, a Beretta 92X Performance, a Wiley Clapp Gov't, and a Smith 986 PC 9mm revolver.
