Threads like this are primarily so the OP can show off their newest toy. At least I admit it!

Here's mine - been wanting one for a few years and finally picked this beauty up last weekend! Let's see yours!

Picked up the little thing on top below at a gun show about 2 weeks ago for $180 out the door.

It is .25 ACP and called a Chantecler Depose, which is French of some sort. It was apparently made pre WWII.  The first word is a city in France and also a breed of chicken so I call it the chicken gun.

I got out and shot it last weekend and it functioned flawlessly for everyone who tried it, although my sister struggled with the single-action trigger which is very heavy. It's a true gut gun and has no actual sights, just a slot milled down the top of the slide.

Shown in a size comparison with one of my LCPs, it is now the smallest gun I own.

The Combat Elite upper left has been in the stable for a few years. The Wiley Clapp and the two Kimbers are new additions.

Yes that's real factory Ivory 100% Royal blue no CCH  unfired mid 80's  with box  etc.,  a time capsule with no turn line on the cylinder,I've never touched real Ivory before, it feels alot like glass and has a similar weight.
I've looked for an all blue SAA for years, this one fell in my lap yesterday it was on hold for another guy who just didn't want it, I was at the right place at the right time.

I recently picked up this S&W 66 and bundle of goodies.  Of course the Model 66 no dash and the following:

•Mixson Leathercraft Holster 3091L 408
•Bianchi No.5 Cordura Holster
•HKS Leather Speedloader Holder #103 MED
•Cordura Speedloader Holder
•HKS Speedloader No.10 8 pieces
•Winchester Black Talon 180 Gr. SXT 9 rounds

Since I’ve been a good boy all year Santa let me buy this lot for $500.  Was I a good boy or did Santa give me a bunch of coal?

Stopped by my local Fun Shop today, to kill time waiting for my buddy to come help me, pick up a new recliner.  Well that was downfall.  While killing time, saw this little beauty and couldn't say no.  I seriously have a problem, but I really don't want a cure for it.

Sig M18 It's my first polymer Sig. Can't wait to try it out.

Bought these two with the intention to keep one after my first range trip. I ended up keeping the 19x. It fit my hand better, had less felt recoil and couldn't get use to the point of aim on the 509 tactical.

did you try swapping the backstrap?

Yes, but my biggest issue was having to cover the whole target with the front sight. I'm not sure if it's FNs standard poa or just because of the suppressor height sights.
I liked the handgun but I would have needed to put an optic to enjoy shooting it and I didnt want to go that way.

S&W Model 909

Made from 1995 to 1997. The Value Line Series version of the classic single stack DA/SA 9mm duty size pistol. It was the last variant that started the entire S&W DA/SA line and traces its lineage back to the S&W Model 39.

The main difference between a traditional 3rd Gen Auto and the Value line is the following. Both the 3906/3904 and the 909 are 9+1 Capacity. But the Value Line has less machining on the slide, the guide rod and mag catch are plastic as are the sights. Also the frame is Aluminum instead of Steel.

I've wanted a full size single stack S&W for a while but either the guns were horribly beat to shit and cost $400 or they were in nice condition and cost close to $1000. This one cost me $350 and comes in LNIB condition with the case, papers, etc... can't wait to have it shipped to me.

It will be a nice range gun.

That is a nice one! You got a great deal on that, well done.  My very first handgun and first duty gun was a second hand (maybe third, fourth or fifth hand) S&W 59.  I loved that thing, makes me sick to my stomach when I think about the day I sold it.  Just for sentimental reasons now it's priceless to me.  To be young and stupid again...

I've always liked these early semi auto Smith's.  They are built strong and they look great from the model 39/59 all the way to the end.  If I ever come across another 59 like mine I may have to sell a kidney to try and make it mine.
