So here's the deal - looking to add another 9mm to the stable. I've narrowed it down to:

Sig SP2022
or
Beretta 92FS

Between the two what would Arfcom choose and why?

UPDATE: Between the SP2022 and the 92F - the winner is.....
XD-45ACP!

As I mentioned in a later post I picked up an LCP when I went down to the fun store to fondle the two 9mms mentioned. No big deal, I just planned on selling my P32 and then picking up the 2022. After I posted the P32 on a local board I ended up trading it, 3 boxes of .32 and a C-note for a very nice XD-45. Hell, I already have 4 other 9mms anyway....

I owned a 2022 once, good gun but I could not get used to the grip.  Just wasn't right for me.  I would still choose it over the 92, I've had the worst luck with them.

Gotta have a 92FS in the stable.

Get the 92. Proven reliable and accurate platform. Cheap and easy to find mags, parts, holsters and accessories.

Thanks for the replies - of course the proper answer is get both! Unfortunately, my banker will disagree with that sentiment. I've always wanted a Beretta 92, I do have a PT92 AFS. There's also a PX4SC in the stable (Well, kind of, my mother liked it so much she claimed it and it's now in her purse. Can't say no to Mom!)

The kicker is the Sig will be about $80 cheaper than the 92.

Decisions, decisions...

As I'm both a Sig and Beretta fan, it's a tough call.

I'm gonna vote for the Beretta though based on the price/availability of mags, holsters, etc.

My 92's are accurate and reliable - never had a single failure with either.

Keep us updated and good luck.

In the world of firearms, an $80 difference ain't shit. Quit hem-hauling and get the 92!

I'm not a big fan of the 2022. If your question had been 92FS vs. P226 or P228, it would have been a tougher call for me.

So I just went back down to the fun store - wanted to fondle 'em again. Dealer just sold his last FS and said getting another might take a little while. He's always been straight up with me so I believe him. While I'm talking to him about that, I notice he just got in three or four LCPs. I ended up bringing home a new LCP and 3 boxes of .380! Now I've need to sell my P32 before I get the other 9mm. Why do I make shit so complicated?

Once the P32 is outta here I think I'll pick up the 2022, and then add the 92FS after the Christmas bills.

Thanks for the replies, guys.
