I think the "baby GLOCKs" look really cool in OD.

Very nice gun - makes me want another.

Thank you.  I shot both mags today.   Worked perfect.  It jumps considerably more than my heavyweight P89.  I need to get out with it some more to get used to the Glock trigger.  It's just enough different that I need some time on it.  Overall, I am very happy with my choice.  I believe it will spend many, many years on my right hip.

I didn't think of that when I laid the price tag there!

I knew there would be some haters, but I've done my homework on CC guns and I believe I bought the right piece for me.

The Glock 26 is my carry piece as well.  I would have gotten OD, but I couldn't find one with night sights.  It's a great pistol and very concealable.

I like my friends G26 so much that I bought a G19.  Welcome to the dark side.

Nice Glock. I almost went with the OD on my 27 but I had to stick with the black, just like all of my other guns.

I have always thought Glock should make them in blaze orange in case you drop your pistol in the woods.
Makes it easy to find!

I started with a G34, then I bought a G26, then another G26, and finally a G19.
Great handguns.

Our local police armorer (Glock trained) says the only broken Glocks he's seen have been those "improved" with steel guide rods. The OP might want to stick with the factory system. I agree with the suggestion for the Pierce mag extension. I have those on my G27.

I have on order a crossbreed supertuck with combat cut and pearce +2 extensions.  I picked up a standard Glock holster already.  I was thinking I might start buying some of the Korean G19 mags, just to have them on hand.  I was thinking a G19 would be next because I want to mount a light on an HD gun.

All I have yet to decide is sights.  I would like night sights, but I'm not sure which ones yet.  Question:  Can I replace the sights myself, or do I need a 'smith to do it?

Thanks again,

MJ

Nice choice.  I've been through several carry guns over the years, and the G26 is pretty much ideal as far as I'm concerned(for me anyway).  Here is mine w/ Comp-Tac MTAC:

mm, nice!  i always applaud a glock purchase.

what's the appeal to OD green though? it looks like the strained peas i just fed my daughter.  which is kind of gross, btw.

Best carry rig there is IMO.  I can pack mine all day in shorts and a t-shirt and that G26 can cut the center out of silhouettes at 25 yards.  Kind of uncanny, really.

I dunno, I just like green.  My AK furniture is OD.  My bedroom set has forest green highlights. My house has green shutters and green shingles.

Even my eyes are green.

I like all black guns, but there's just something about green...
