Today I got a call from my uncle to see if I wanted a "Box of pistols" for free.
Well where did you get them and what are they?
"They were in the old mans shed,one looks like Magnum P.I."
My mind is going crazy thinking 1911 as I drive over as fast as possible.
The old man was his father in law that passed a few years ago and was a Miami cop in the 50's-60's.
First 1911 fail

This BB gun was not a total loss for me because I remember him sitting on the front porch shooting cats that thought his garden was a litter box

Next up...32?

Bore is rusty but everything else seems OK but springs.
It may have worked for him a long time ago or maybe it was a "throw down" pistol. J/K

Next up..another .32?

It pretty much looks like the same pistol but has a longer barrel and lanyard loop.
Only markings I found so far

At least the Marksman repeater BB gun still works...5 shot group

The first revolver looks more common to me and I may try to bring it back to life one day.
Any ideas?

Second gun appears to be a homemade "zip gun".

The revolver is, or appears to be, a Webley, something along the lines of the RIC or similar models.

Second one can be something similar. That said, there were a lot of Spanish and Belgian clones of them made in the 1900s-1940s.

I had one of those Crossman BB guns when I was a kid....they shot BB's, pellets and small darts, which was kind of cool..... The revolvers do look like some sort of British Webley.....

That's cool. They still make those 1911 BB guns.

I used to have one with a dartboard. Be sure to police up your bounced darts, they stick in feet pretty good (and mom gets pissed when they rattle around in the vacuum cleaner

)

I think the revolvers are French "pin-fire" guns.

Google that and see what you get.

The first revolver is a British "bulldog" probably in 9-11mm.

The second is also a British "bulldog" in 7.65mm

That's the Magnum P.I. from National Lampoon's Vacation. Chevy Chase takes the Wally World security guard hostage with that mean piece. still had the price tag hanging from it when he did it.

I still have one of those bb-pistols. The other looks like my Forehand & Wadsworth british bulldog in 32 S&W. Believe they were made in 22, 32, 38. 41 & 44 calibers, may have missed some. Not worth much but were the forgotten gun that really won the west.

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if you could get $400 for bot the revolvers?

If so you'd be half way to the cost of a nice new SIG pistol of your choice!

Those BB pistols were marketed by crossman and perhaps others. I had one and so did a friend. toys.

Yep, I have one out in the workshop. They are laughably slow, I don't think they even get to much more then 300FPS.

Those would look nice in a shadow box display . 1911 still good fun , when you need to bee sting a cat or dog on or about the hind end .

I still have mine around here somewhere.

I agree the top revolver is most likely a F&W Bulldog.

The remains of the other revolver look like an Irish Police Bulldog.
