Hey guys whats up?.... I just ordered a .45 baby. This is my first IMI as well as my first .45 firearm. From what I read the IMI firearms seem to be very accurate and reliable. What do you guys think... Pros/Cons

I had a Baby Eagle compact in .40.  Other than some jams probably caused by an inexperienced shooter's limpwristing, it was pretty reliable and accurate.

Just try not to dry fire it.  Mine broke the tip off the firing pin. MRI wanted me to ship them the gun for repair and would only ship it back to a dealer.  They wouldn't sell me a replacement firing pin, so I ended up making my own.

I won't be doing any more business with MRI any time soon.

What about the replacement for the Baby Eagle (the SP-21)?  Any word on those either?
