i was having a discussion with some friends revolving around the .45 vs .40 vs 9mm choice, etc.
one question i have is if i decide to carry a 9mm and use +p loads regularly, which pistols area best designed to handle these hotter loads?  we all settled on ruger, sig, glock, HP, beretta in somewhat similar ranking.  any viewpoints on these and others?

Add to the list of durable enough:

CZ and Tanfoglio copies
IMI Baby Eagles
HK USP
S&W
Kahr Arms (they designed it around the 115gr +P Corbon load).
Any 1911 chambered in 9mm

in other words, just about any quality handgun in 9mm.
