i have a p22 that i shoot at least 1000 rounds every time i am at the range. Total, i think somewhere around 8,000rds.

the Problem. when i tried to clean it yesterday, the barrel nut was really hard to take off. i had to put it in the vice just to get it off. when i look at the barrel i can see silver lines that look like rifling.

in other words, its shot out. i have had it less than a 2 months, this can't be normal!

where can i find replacement barrels?
should i write waltherabout this?

thanks

The Walther P22 is the poorest excuse for a pistol barrel I have ever seen. I have seen pellet rifle barrels that had more meat to them. That being said I see P22 parts on Ebay all the time.  I am sure that your owner's manual has a parts list and where to get them.
