I don't know if I'll have enough patience.  On Friday I ordered a PM40 from Kahr.  The person I talked to at Kahr said it may take 4-6 weeks to get it.  I've been wanting to get a Kahr for a couple of years now, and finally got the okay.  I was really excited when I saw that they were shipping the PM40's, and just knew that was the right one for me.    Hopefully my dealer doesn't get too annoyed from me calling him regularly to see if it's in.

Can't wait to get it to show it off.  I've read about some having problems, but they sounded like they were ammo related.  

I'm planning on carrying it in a pocket holster when in plain clothes, and in an off hand ankle holster when working.  Anyone got any recommendations on holsters that aren't too expensive.

I have a P40 and it's proven to be an excellant pistol for the Mrs. No reliability problems at all. As for Leather, don't scrimp. Cheap holsters are worth what you pay, next to nothing.

For ankle holsters I would only use an Alessi when I was on the street.www.alessileather.com/
