I recently bought 2 factory pre-ban Taurus 15 round mags. The mags had some rust one them, so I bought them very cheap and cleaned them up. They have some etching and small pits but seem to function perfectly. I was wondering if I could send them in to be replaced with new pre-ban mags. I know some companies will do this with damaged pre-ban guns. Has anyone tried this with mags? Thanks.

Don't know about that, but I belive you can purchase replacement mag bodies.  I'm sure somebody else will chime in with details.

CMMG had someone making replacement mag bodies for the AR15, but that was a limited ammount and he sold out quick.
