Seen a picture and article in SOF mag. USMC new .45 looks very nice. I like the way they built the frame with attachment rail cast into the frame.

S&W 1911 did get good reviews, and functioned very well at the S&W demo I went to... figures, but I was satisfied with it. Not up on my 1911's to know what to miss though.

Very Nice Pistol.....got to shoot one @ range yesterday. Smooth as glass action woth a clean 4# trigger. Looks like USMC all over it in all OD green...MMC adjustable nite sights are terrific and the intregal light mount is for what ever light/laser you want to add.
Comes in a nice custom nylon case with mag storage cells inside and 3 fitted green mags. retail $ 2995 per SOF article. |

How do you figure that this is a Marine Corps pistol??? Just FYI, the Only two .45's in use now are the MEU(SOC) pistol, used exclusively by Force Reconnaissance, and the Kimber ICQB, used bt Detachment 1. That's it. No others. |
