Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Sure Fire Milleniums on 1913 rails?

RE:  "OPERATOR" style 1911s from Sringfield Armory, Caspian, Wilson, etc.
The dimensions of the integral rail/dust cover assy. are std. 1913 picatinny.
 A Glock 19 w/  Polymer millenium, needs an dapter, will the polymer M, fit the 1913 rail dimensions, w/o using an adapter like that on the Glock 19,setup?  

Or will I still need an adapter?  

Are there Milleniums w/ 1913 mt.s integral to the lights?  

I understand the Glocks encountered some difficulties w/ recoil/flex w/ the milleniums mt'd directly to the pistol.

Similar problems w/ the steel .45 frames?

Thanks all.  Would hate to be limited to M3/M6s on a 1911 w/ integrated rail.  Sorry if its been asked and answered before.
