Picked up a LNIB Kimber Pro Tac earlier this year, and I've been completely impressed.

But I've somewhat pampered it, as it is such a nice piece.

That was until I was transporting it to the range recently. I had it packed on top of the rest of my guns and gear in the back seat of my Supercrew. When I opened the door, the kimber slid right out. It dropped about five feet after a good powerslide (hear it sliding across my plastic gun case) and slammed hard onto the concrete. Landed right on the rear sight.

I picked it up, a little shaken as you can imagine. Ispected it, and was suprised to see that while it did leave a mark, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

But I was still extremely worried about how it would affect the accuracy.

Well, after shooting it today, it seems like it shoots even better than before!

Or maybe I was just doing better than normal today.

Either way, it's nice to know this gun can take a knock like that, and be good to go.

Glad it's not hurt too bad!
That's the type of stuff heart attacks come from!
Next time use the child safety seat and strap it in tight!
