Truly a rifle-like pistol. Got mine when they were $150. Always remember to remove the internal choke from the .44 mag bbl. when firing bullets from shot caps...oops!

Good idea for a new thread! Why didn't I thunk of that???

Shoots like a dream, smoothist double action only trigger pull youll ever see. This gun was way ahead of its time, accurate, easy to control points like an arrow, Its what a close up defense handgun is all about. and accepts all colt mags. the standard is 5 + 1 I believe, but the regular 7 round Colt mags snap in and give you about a 1 inch over hang |

Nice! Whats better than a gunshow on your bed? Women come and go...the guns stay!

I saw an ad for a Thomas once without a pic. That is nice! |

The original came with plastic grip panels, which broke. so I made the current panels from Black Walnut |

[drool]Are those birds eye maple grips on it cockedandlocked? I want one in 45 long colt preferably with the 4 & 3/4 barrel. There is no revolver as (dare I say it) sexy as a SAA.

S&W Model 27 .357 magnum 3.5 inch barrel.
125gr golden saber bullets in front of a healthy charge of Bluedot. This gets their attention at the indoor range. http://album.gunsnet.net/data/phil_in_se/276_p1459.jpg |

Are you using the img url from the preview pic or from the actual viewable pic in your album ? The preview (thumb) will show smaller than the actual |

The one on top is a wall hanger that makes for wide eyes and lots of conversation. Newbies usually guess it's a 44 magnum, or, if they saw the movie "Johnny Dangerous" an 88 magnum! But it's just an old model single-six that I couldn't get to shoot well, so now it sports an 18" tube and shoots quite a bit better. I'm having trouble finding a holster for it though... The lower one is a gun that has been shot, carried and abused by me, more than any other of my other guns, combined! She aint all original, but the grouse and rabbits have been over to my place for supper on a regular basis thanks to this one. OdT |

C&L, sorry 'bout that. But the good news is, I am catching on. Thanks again for your help. Thx HighCaliber, ;-) OdT |
