I have 9mm, 357Sig 40 S&W, 45ACP.

Can I work well with just 9mm and 45ACP?

Yep. Modern ammo has really leveled out the pistol caliber playing fields.

I like the 9mm for high capacity  and the 45ACP because it's 45ACP.

9mm for everything.

I'll agree with the posts above, .357Sig and .40S&W don't do that much for me personally. I like 9mm and .45 for autos (and .38/.357 and .44 in large large frame revolvers)

I agree with the previous posts.  I only keep 9mm and .45 ACP handguns.  The 9mm is cheap for the range/classes and the .45 is powerful enough for HD.  I don’t see myself needing something bigger than a .45 (at least when it comes to handguns).  When it comes to stocking up on ammo, I find it easier to pile up and to stash only two calibers for my handguns.

9mm, .45 ACP, and for range fun, .357 magnum.

For serious work 9mm and 45acp are plenty, but I think a 22lr pistol is a must for plinking fun in a collection.

That depends on what you want to do.

Very true. I would say Keep the 40SW and 357 SIG.

40 is not that expensive, its right between 9 and 45acp, Locally for me its closer to the 9mm side of prices. Also, the 40 can be converted to the powerful 357 sig very easly with just a barrel. Its easy to have 2 cals with one gun for very cheap. the 357 sig is a Good shooting and very powerful round, great for SD and has MORE ENERGY than a 45acp+p. It opens and expands well.

Thats just my views.

I do own a firearm in all of the above calibers too.

I only have pistols chambered in 9MM and 45 ACP I see no need for 357 SIG and 40 S&W.

I can do pretty much anything I need to do with my .357 Magnums.

I own ONE .45 ACP autoloader, a Springfield Micro Compact. Other than that, my only autoloaders are a CZ52 and a Ruger 22/45.

Looks like I'm going to be getting:

9mm - IPSC Production
.357SIG - IPSC Standard
.357Mag - IPSC Revolver/ICORE

.44Mag/10mm - Metallic Silhouette.

Yes, that's all you need.  Ditch the 357 sig and 40 s&w.

I do everything with 9mm and 10mm and don't see any need for other calibers.

For the matter you can ditch the other three and go with just .40.

Honestly, you can settle on any one caliber that you're comfortable with and not go wrong, as long as you use good ammo.

If you want to go to 9mm and .45ACP, there's no reason not to.

.22LR & .45ACP for me.  I also own a .357 but it's only for fun/hunting & I only have a 100rds for it.

I carry .40 for work & that's only because I have too.  It's a good round but it doesn't do anything that .45acp won't do.  I've tried 9mm but don't really care for it.  I guess I'm too much of a .45 guy but seriously, anyone will do the job.

Wifey is not comfortable with semi autos.  Wheel gun is simple stupid easy.  She's a decent shot.  Range work is reloaded semi wad cutters 125 gr.  Bump in the night is 38 spl Gold Dots.  Better than calling 911.
