I saw both of these at the gunstore today and wondered how practical is it really? The chromed out one looks cool. Both are over $1200.

What in the WORLD does practical have to do with buying a gun????????    

If you go with the parkerized finish, you can get a .44mag for around $900 or so.

I'm betting the .50 price will drop as the S&W .500 takes more & more market share.
