Got me a Kel-Tec P32, Colt Mark IV Series 80, and Dan Wesson Model 15 6" 357mag.

All parkerized of course!

I must acquire another handgun <$1k, what am I looking at?  Got the 32 auto, 45 auto, and 357 mag.

Hmmmm.........................................

I know it's nothing fancy, but how about an S&W Model 10 4" .38 Special revolver . This is a good basic, historically linked piece(The Military and Police Model). Are they still available NEW?

Spend a little more and get a Valto 1911 or a Sig 220 Sport.   I do enjoy shooting mine.

Got to cover BOTH ends of the spectrum.
A very accurate .22 for cheap fun plinking and a monster big-bore, .44 mag & up.
Revolver or auto...as long as it's covered

LOL...this happens everytime...now I'll want one of each!  Thanks fellas!

Full size USP .40.

You need a Browning Buckmark .22 and a MKIII 9mm.

How can you not want one of these???:

I second Lumpy's  view.  Browning H Power.  OR a S&W 41.  Your collection isn't complete without a good .22

Baby Eagle in 9mm or .40. Hi-caps for the 9mm are still rather cheap. That and the trigger is really nice.

HK USP 9

[#19]
H&K P7M8...the most accurate, out of the box, production 9mm...there are ones out there for under $1k

Second, A H&K P9...in .45...again, accurate, a tad funky on the controls, but affordable...

Third-Sig P229 in .40S&W...

last but not least-Sig P220...great out of the box .45 and it is not a single action...

Hell,
For less than 1K you could get a nice plinker like a:
Browning Buckmark
Ruger MII
and a nice 9mm or .40:
       Walther P99
       USP
       CZ75B
Why limit yourself to one. With that much money to work with, double your satifaction with two handguns....
OOOOOOOOO IT WILL FEEL SOOOO GOOOOD

lumpy is on the right track.

can't argue with a browning hi power.

i just got one in trade for a bushy upper.

slim and elegant... seems pretty reliable too.

those look like navidrex grips on lumpy's. mine has 'em, but in black.

my two handguns are the BHP and a sig 226. two classics, should be in any collection.

my next will be a big ugly wheelgun though.

Alright, someone has to explain the Hokie the relevance of a Browning Hi Power...

Nevermind, I'm gonna start a new thread on that.  I'm completely ignorant of BHPs but I hear a lot about em.  Sig P229's too.

Cheers yall.

I changed my mind, I don't need another handgun - I need 10!

Since you have most of the middle calibers covered.
I would say:
1. S&W .500(expensive)
2. Taurus .454
3. Ruger Red Hawk .480
4. S&W Model 41 .22(excellent pistol)
If you go USED you may be able to pick up a Blued Taurus .454 AND a S&W Mod. 41 for around
$1000.00.

Oh man... what a stupid question! You own three handguns and your asking what should be next!??
Obviouse answer... ANYTHING YOU DON'T OWN!!!!

That's the beauty of handguns..  they take up far less space!  You can have ten handguns you don't need in the same space that three rifles you don't need would take up!!!   lol

Each post I've read makes me drool.  I then decide "THAT'S THE ONE I'M GOING TO GET!"

Then I read the next post, and I repeat the process...

I don't get anything accomplished here....I just spend money.  What I should do is make a priority list and start checking them off.

What'll nail me is when I run out of room in my safe...wait a minute, that happened three firearms ago...

Well, I suppose I could cram in two more!
