Anyone have one of these?

I'm not familiar with that model.  My wife has a 3913, which I think is one of the best CCW 9mm made.

The 3914 should be the blued version of the 3913.

Quite honestly, there's better guns made. The Sig P-225 comes to mind. They're found on the used market from time to time.

S&W semis just seem to feel like holding a 2x4 in my hand. Pity their revolvers didn't rub off on the semis.

IMHO 3913/3914 series of pistols were the best pistols to come out of S&W factory (not counting their custom shop stuff).  Also, their 3903 and 3906 series were very under rated.

Several friends and I had early models (when they first came out) and they were all totally reliable with all ammo and had great accuracy.

I bought a 3913 and carried it for a while. My Dad uses it as his primary carry gun now.

I liked the gun as it was well made and very reliable. They are decent guns.

I still prefer the Sig P239, however, as they are better pistols.

I had a 3913, and when SW was acting up when slick Willie was in, I was so raving mad, I gave it away to a good friend.
The thing I did not like about the arm was the bobbed hammer and the slide mounted safety/decocker. Other than that, I sure do miss the pistol. I enjoy the tales my friend tells abouts it's use.
Passion and firearms ownership sure don't mix. I should have kept the thiang.
BTW, there are also LS-LadySmith versions of the pistols.

P225 is a very nice single stack 9mm.  I dont like the P239 series though.
