Can anybody recommend a good pistosmith? Any good experiences, bad experiences or really good work for good prices? Thanks

For 1911 and P-35 work I can personally attest to the quality of all these smiths...... Kings Gun Works, Dane Burns, Ned Christiansen, Mark Morris, Novaks, Jim Hoag, Richard Heinie, Larry Vickers, and Cylinder and Slide. There are many great smiths currently working today and just a few more are  Jim Clark Jr., Jim Garthwaite, EGW, Chuck Rogers, John Yanek, Ted Yost, plus a ton more.

Scott Mulkerin at SDM Fabricating does excellent work on 1911's and S & W revolvers.  He is a recent inductee into the American Pistolsmiths Guild.
