Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - What do the score markings mean on this target?

I posted this in "General Training" but haven't seen much response.  I'm just curious, now. When I took my concealed carry course, they had us fire at this police silhouette target. I was just looking at it, and my question is: What do all the markings on it mean that say like K3/D5 or K4/D3 or K5/D2? here is a link to a gif image of one of the targets I'm talking about.
