How many rounds do people carry on them, just the gun magazine, another magazine, magazine +1?

I am trying to figure weight issues. Might it be easier to carry a mini-Glock with a spare load or just a 17 with a pre-ban magazine.

I dont carry, but I think you should ALWAYS have a second mag, in case the first one jams.

I do have a USP 45, and two 10 round mags. I will be adding a third, but only will carry it openly, at the range or on my land.

If I am carrying a hi-cap pistol, I always have at least one spare mag on me and usually 1 or more others in the car. And even if I am carrying a small revolver, I always carry reloads in speed strips, speedloaders, or loose in my pockets. Of all the things there are to worry about, a shortage of ammo is one I never want to face.

If I'm carrying my Kahr MK9, one or two spare magazines, usually one.

If I'm carrying my Glock 19 (15 rd mag), no spare.

I carry a 10+1 9mm IWB with a spare 10 round on the other side. I also carry a P32 in my off-side front pants pocket.

when I was working narcotics undercover I would have my duty gun(GLOCK 22 with 3 hicaps in a mag pouch) tucked in the small of my back. An AMT 45 loaded with one extra mag in an ankle holster, a loaded MP5 straped in the trunk with 4 other mags readily avaliable incase the shit storm hit the area we were working...which it often did, Thanks to God I never was placed in the shit so deep I had to transition to the MP5 other than serving a felony drug warrant. And If all else failed I had a 5 shot 22 mag deringer in my right front pocket..My team would rag me about being Arnold Swarzenegger but hey...I have a family to go fishing with...and I always made it home!!!
