Just purchased a few days ago. Looking into the chamber, it looks like the front 1/3 was drilled out with a sightly smaller tool, leaving a ring aroung the front of the chamber.  It has the appearance of bieng "step cut" on purpose.  While the difference in size is no thicker than a piece of paper, the spent brass has clear lines on it.  Is this normal?  Thanks for any info.

No, but I have heard of several 9mm compacts with this "feature" on HK Pro.  As long as it works, I don't care, since I don't reload.  Anyone else with compacts have this "feature"?
