I just went to a gunshow and got a argentina hi-power 9mm.  As far as I know they're pretty much the same as an ARCUS-94.  Am I right?  Are they comparable quality?

I am having feeding problems with it, however.  I think it's the magazine's problem, or perhaps a weak ejector spring.  I don't think I'll be able to get a new magazine to try out until Monday.  Quite often a spent shell will get caught in the ejection port (which, with my very limited experience, sounds like a weak ejector spring), and sometimes a spent casing will eject but a new round will not get fed in (which sounds to me like a weak magazine spring).  The hammer will fall forward as normal, but there is no round in the chamber.  Another thing that happens often is that a round will get caught halfway into the chamber, and I have to pull the slide back a tiny bit and let it go to get the round in the chamber.

Do these things sound like a bad gun, or a bad magazine?  Other than those things, the gun is in very nice condition with no dings, scratches, etc., and it is quite accurate and comfortable and has smooth action.
