My usual CCW is a Glock 30. I need something a little slimmer for summer carry. Looking for a 9mm of some type, anything but a Kel-Tek. I had one and as far a function went it was fine but we just couldnt get on the same page as far as where it would hit. I'm open to suggestions here gang.

Kahr K9/P9 or a S&W 3913 would be my 1st choices.

I think the Kahr PM9 is about the smallest 9mm.  It is quite a bit smaller than the G26 (length 5.3" v. 6.5, width 0.9 v. 1.2, height 4.0 v. 4.3").

Are there any single stack nines based on the Browning High Power / CZ75 designs -- something capable of cocked and locked carry?

There is the P7M8 H&K that is single stack, though I am not a fan of it. Not quite like cocked n locked though.

I'm a big fan of the Kahr K9.
The 225 is thin, but not any more advantageous than the 228.

The Sig P225 or S&W 3913. Both are great guns, especially the Sig.

I have a Sig P225 and it's one of my favorite pistols, but looks are deceiving since it's actually thicker through the butt than my Glock 19.(Don't believe me? Get out a ruler and check!)

My daily carry Kahr MK9 fits the bill for a small, accurate, concealable 9 built to digest full house loads so you can practice extensively with it. If weight/size ratio is a major consideration a polymer Kahr might be the way to go.

My daily carry is also a Kahr MK9.  (Why do I always buy the 9mm model before the .40 is available?????)  I carry it in a Krammer pocket holster, its a little slow to get out depending on the pocket.  I also occasionally carry my Glock 19.  I prefer the Kahr because I don't have to worry about putting on and taking off a belt holster.  It's also a nice set-up when you're hurrying out the door, just grab it and throw it in a pocket.

Try an Uncle Mike's IWB holster made for 2" J frame S&W's. The fit is perfect and it's very low bulk. I have an Alessi belt slide and IWB Talon for the Kahr (as for all of my carry pistols)but, as much as I think Alessi stuff is great (and Lou is one helluva nice guy) that cheap Uncle Mike's holster is unbeateble for the MK9.

Minor thread Hijack

Because of my build, I have trouble finding shirts, coats, etc. that cover my belt area very well.  As long as I stand straight up most belt holsters, including IWB will be covered but if I bend over or twist my shirt or coat rides up and you can see the gun.

Kahr MK9 is the same, available now, all metal.  I have one, like it a lot.

Length O/A 5.3"
Height 4.0"
Slide Width .90"

I suggest you check out the polymer framed Kahr pistols , I had an all steel variant , and I loved it except for the fact that it was just a bit too heavy for comfort (it weighed nearly as much as my Kimber Pro-Carry )

I think the polymer framed ones will fit the bill nicely
