Use skateboard tape on your pistols? I love this stuff personally.

No but I have an entire roll of athletic tape on the pistol grip of my AR.

Never used it, but know how slippery a smooth gripped auto can be in the summer...a smooth, wood gripped revolver, forget it!

I use Houges.  The skateboard tape wears holes into my shirts.

I tried that AGRIP stuff, but really did not like it at all.

I used to have a Hogue on a 1st gen. Glock 17 (when I still had it). Began using the tape because I started having to re-align the Hogue every time I went to pick it up.

When I got my brand spanking new 21, I just automatically slapped some tape on. I dunno, the finger grooves might help keep the Hogue properly oriented on the 3rd gen. grip.

ruger mk2's,and most revolvers........just rember the hairspray trick on the slip on grips.

If I can't grip it without extra crap then it's a design flaw and I don't own it.

I have no problems with my Glock 27 or my SW99.  My Colt SP1 came with a Hogue grip.

God Bless Texas
