My dad is looking for a good SA revolver and stumbled upon a NIB Stampede for $350.  Are these any good or should he save up for something else?

They are a good value. A few acquaintances use them for cowboy action shooting. I personally think it has one of the best from-the-factory triggers for a single action revolver in its price range. I also prefer the loading procedure to Ruger's.

I have one and it is a fantastic gun! Made very well indeed!
