I was just reading about this gun:

"Action similar to the Combat Master, 3.5 inch barrel, 6 shot magazine, black frame, slide and grips are iridescent purple, hammer and Trigger are 24 Karat Gold Plated.  Less than 25 were manufactured, 1990-92."

I remember the Detonics of the late '70's and always wanted one
The little chopped .45 always got my attention.
Makes you wonder what market they were aiming at in purple black and gold? the dude wit da purple hair to match?

That gun must have been manufactured by New Detonics.
