5 very used West German Sigs 3 226's 9mm and 2 220's.  These guns had most of the finish stripped, the old style grips and had lots of cosmetic blemishes.  They ranged in price from $320-$350.  Are Sigs that well used worth that amount of money?

I'd probably try to talk them down to the 250-300 range. Considering you can get certified sigs in great condition for only a $100-150 more then what they are asking.

That is what I thought.  Just wondering if they were that high because they had collector value or something.

I saw a Sig from CDNN at my FFL's, and the damn thing looked like new. For $369.

Only suckers pay retail.

$350 for a SIG ?

If the internals are in good functional shape , and the barrel is shootable, Helll Ya!

A can of Duracoat is cheap.

Sounds like some of the Israeli Sigs that were showing up on the market.

Unless there was some obvious mechanical damage/excessive wear, I would buy one of the 220s at that price (less if they would haggle, of course) and then send it off to ROBAR for refinishing the next time they run a special (they usually run one in the Summer).
