Its a hybrid of the CZ75 and the Browning HP35. Either in .40S&W or 10mm would be closest in spirit, ergonomics and performance.

Well, the Bren 10 was a copy of the then-difficult-to-obtain CZ75, and the Witness was an Italian copy of the CZ75.
So I'd say the Witness is probably closer in spirit, plus it comes in 10mm, which the CZ never did. |
