I was just sitting here thinking how rabid some of the 1911, Glock, insert your brand here, owners are. Frankly, I can't imagine what it must be like to only own one brand of handgun. Personally, I own handguns of 10 different manufacturers. But maybe I'm just a gun slut!

Browning, Browning, Browning, Browning, and Browning. All of them HiPowers. I've had many other pistols, but none of them compares to the BHP. So over time I replaced them all with what works best for me.

3 at this moment.

I'm not too awfully loyal to one brand. SIGs are by far my favorite. But I also love my Kel-tec and Springfield. Soon I want to get a small revolver (S&W or Taurus), a glock and a 2nd SIG.

Gee I wonder why I stick to 1911s

If you had a real 1911, you'd just plain know better.

Sure, I have no objection to admiring & possessing a SAA, Python/686, BHP, Bren Ten, etc, but then there is all the $ on different ammo and equipment that goes with.

Even the P220, the USP, and the Smith 29(?) are distractions great as they may be. I love distractions of this nature, but range time is precious to me these days and my purpose for being there is to keep proficient for self-defense.
