Got a chance to pick up a used Sig P229 9mm (looks new with only a few hundred rounds through it) for $475.00.  Does that sound like a reasonable deal?  Any opinions???
Thanks...

Sounds about right, IMO.

IMO, I always disregard the "x-amount of rds fired" thing. There's no way in the world a buyer or a seller can prove how many rds have been fired. Unless you know & trust the guy, of course.

Just check the bore real close; look for fouling, chips on the muzzle, etc.

Sounds like a good deal.

Especially if they've got the older style slides (much better looking, IMO....maybe the newer ones are better, but I know relatively little about SIG tech specs).

A good price.  It could be a great price if the gun is as new as it sounds.
