what is the best 9mm pistol
it all depends on the user and what he/she prefers (quality, grip, size, feel, sights, trigger, material, weight, price etc)
personal preference overall, the best 9mm is the Glock (19 or 17) imo |
My personal favorite as well. I also own and have yet to experience failures with a HK P2000, CZ P01, Beretta 92fs (most rounds through of all I have). My Sig 226 requires lots of oil. Until I figured that out, it gave me problems. Scott |

Best 9mm pistol??? Hmmmmmmmmmmm
Today, I Probably would say the Sig P226. In the past, I might have said a Beretta M9, S&W 5906, or maybe G19. It all depends on your liking. There are a lot of 9mm handguns out there. -Michael J |
Hands down, the Sig P-210 for a mere $2k or so.......................
Sig 228, I don't know if its the best, But mine has functioned flawlessly, it looks battered, but works great.
This Question is entirely subjective.
I have 2 9mms I enjoy shooting my Browning Hipower clone the most at long range it's SA and with houge rubber grips IT stays planted in my hands and hits what I point at. My SigSauer P228 fits my hand and if I was carrying for defense this would be my choice for maneuverabilty and concealability vs firepower. I shoot it well in SA and my DA pull is improving. I'd like to try them all! |
Absolutely! What are you going to use it for? CCW? Plinking? Do you have a price range? For general range use at a good price you can't beat a Ruger P89. I have well over 10,000 rounds through mine without a problem. It's not easy, but it can also be used as a CCW gun with the right holster. It is quite a bulky gun, especially with 17+1. The thing is built like a tank though. |

Don't buy until you check out the
HiPower! I have had lots of 9's, but the BHP is the one I keep coming back to. |
The one you shoot the best, is 100% reliable, and one you will use enought to get hits with it is the one to choose. So, try a bunch and choose the right one for you!

Sig, glock, hk- really it's hard to go wrong with one of those three

+1

highpoint .
seriously the offerings of all major brands should be sufficent. my favorite and daily ccw is a G19. |
SIG 210
HK P7M8 or M13 HK P9S HK USP Elite Are some of the best 9mms Glock 19,17,17L and 34 are great and have great value HK USP and USP Compact, P2000 are wonderful SIG 226 and 228 are two great handguns as well. Wather P5 P88 There can never be "THE BEST GUN" it is what works for you. If there was "the best" gun out there, then I would have to stop buying guns............and what fun is that. |
CZ
Glock XD SIG Beretta 92 Take your pick. What criteria do we go by to say it is the best. If it was reliability, accuracy and cost I would say CZ. My P01 is the most comfortable pistol I have ever held. If it is parts and accesory availability I would say Glock 17,19; Beretta 92; Sig 226. One pistol might fit great in my hand and not fit at all in anothers hand. Like I said if you look at what you get for what you pay for I like CZ but not every body does. Your criteria will help you decide more than a popularity vote for what pistol. I hope you find one you like and enjoy it. |

My Preferences.
For Carry: H&K P7M8 For range: toss up between: - H&K USPf 9mm (with or without Jet funnel and 18 round mags) - Glock 34 |
Whatever one that you are trained on that is on your hip with you need it.
Sig P228, P226, P225, P210, and X-5. That covers CCW, fullsize service, BUG, bling, and competition.

The G19. Without a doubt. The best on the planet. I love it. I would marry it if it was legal. It is actually legal to marry your gun in Las Vegas but I wouldn't know how to ship it with all the security checks and all. Man what a great question. The G19 is definately the best.

HK P7
BHP CZ75 (sp-01) SW 59xx series You cant go wrong with any of these. |
On honeymoon night, you can make love to it by sticking your dick in the end of the barrel. Ah good times. |
Yet, somehow, other models continue to be sold................................???????????? |
Honestly...
The CZ P-01. It is the most perfect compact 9mm on the planet without question. If not the P-01, than the Glock G19 |
After much thought on this one since I own most of the model's mentioned I'd have to say the Sig 226. I do lube the rails with grease but very lightly and it has fired over 3,000 rounds including much Bulletmeister 135 grain lead. I carry a HK P2000, but for all around use the Sig is the top.

Theres Such a thing as the best 9mm??? (Sorry, I had to slip the 9mm vs .45 in here somewhere)
+3 For the USP Nathan |

Springfield Armory XD9.
It's my first gun ever and I love it. I haven't found one thing that I don't like about it. |
I love my Beretta 92fs inox.
That said, this topic is way to subjective. I know I would be just as well off with any number of guns..... |
I have a sig 226 and a beretta 92fs in s/s... I like em bolth... the sig is an older 226 with the sheet mettle slide and was made in "west germany" I like it best... mine deos not seem to reqire "alot of oil" like another posters...
